Abstract :
We numerically analyze surface plasmon resonances associated with metallic nanoparticles that have been prepared with reverse micelles of water/AOT/isooctane solution and deposited on glass. Our approach is based on using standard numerical tool which allows to calculate transmittance characteristics of thin layers containing nanoparticles that are characterized by effective dielectric function according to the model developed by Abe and Suwa [Phys. Rev. B 70, 235103(2004)].
