Comparative analysis of hysteresis modulation methods for VSI current control

An evaluation criterion of the current control methods for three phase voltage source inverters has been proposed. It refers to an ideal case, whose performances can be assumed as a limit the various solutions can be compared to. The criterion has been applied to some hysteresis control methods, showing that two of them give quite good steady state performances, which are near tot hat of the ideal case. This is in addition to excellent dynamic behaviour which is peculiar to the hysteresis methods
