Abstract :
This paper presents a technique for the increasing reliability of a brushless DC motor for special applications. If there is need to continue the motion after one phase supply failure and to finish engineering procedure, the technique can be implemented. The technique can be used in the systems requiring increased reliability, e.g. in drive systems for space applications and the like.
