Abstract
In the paper the oxidation kinetics of different iron forms by atmospheric oxygen and nitrogen is shown. It is stated that the water temperature greatly influences on the Fe(II) oxidation process by the atmospheric oxygen. At the oxidation by nitrogen the temperature influence is not significant. The obtained results allow to execute the right choice of water purification technology.
