Abstract :
In the report the problem leakage detection of petroleum and gas from trunking pipelines is solved. The basic questions for the detection of the fact of occurrence of leakage and definition of a place of its occurrence are presented. Their consideration is based on research of the transient processes caused by the appearing leakage. The decision using a final part of transient process is offered.
