Abstract :
A prototype expert system using novel reasoning style in diagnostic knowledge is presented. It helps a technician to locate faulty functional modules of an electronic device, assists in diagnosing faulty electronic components, wirings, printed circuit boards or other chassis-mounted parts which could have caused failure, and recommends appropriate repair in the electronic device
