Abstract :
A methodology is presented for modeling and controlling a real-time scheduling system at the operational level in a flexible manufacturing environment, using a colored Petri net (CPN) modeling approach and an online control policy in task scheduling. The CPN and a state equation model in which the scheduling control decision is a feedback law are constructed
