Abstract
With the use of communication networks, information among subsystems can be exchanged, when a coordination of the subsystems control is necessary. Most important questions to be answered are the following: Which subsystems must exchange information and when must the information exchange be performed? These questions will be answered in this paper for symmetrically interconnected systems, at which a communication among subsystems is only necessary, when the effects of the subsystem coupling is strong. The control objectives can be satisfied even with local system information, when the subsystem interaction is weak.
