Abstract
Composite materials formed by mixing polymers and carbon blacks possess both good electrical conductivity and the properties of base polymers. They are widely used in industry as temperature control and shielding materials etc. In this work, polyethylene-carbon black (PE-CB) composites are investigated in the 0.3 to 2 THz range. Fourier transform spectra and optical constants of the composite are studied in detail.
