Abstract
A large-signal analysis is carried out in a plasma-grating filled Cerenkov dielectric oscillator with a relativistic electron beam considering initial velocity spread. The decrease in efficiency is compensated by plasma injection. Below a critical plasma density, the interaction efficiency increases as the plasma density increases.
