Abstract :
The paper mainly studied the time-variant and nonlinear warp tension system, reducing and eliminating start mark and weaving variant-pick-density fabrics. 32-bit DSP was adopted as core control unit. Fuzzy-PID algorithm dealt with the control of warp tension. Performing mechanism was AC servo motor. The quantity of let-off and take-up can be controlled fast and independently. The warp tension is stationary. It also responses fast and have high precision. It is easy to reduce and eliminate start mark and weave variant-pick-density fabrics. The results indicate that the control system can settle some difficult control problems and has abundant and advanced functions. It promotes the development of loom. There are good responses from some factories that adopted the control system
