Abstract :
In this paper the operating range of the pulse-driven AC Josephson voltage standard is investigated. The lower frequency limit has been successfully decreased from 450 Hz down to 7 Hz by modification of the pulse-drive electronics. Furthermore, preliminary test results using an inductive voltage divider (IVD) indicate that at frequencies between typically 50 Hz and 5 kHz uncertainties better than 1 μV/V seem to be within reach for voltages well above 1 V.
