Abstract
Summary form only given. Thermal wavelength tuning characteristics of super-structure-grating quantum well DBR lasers with integrated heaters are demonstrated. A quasi-continuous tuning range of 40 nm is obtained while keeping the spectral linewidth below 400 kHz
