  • Abstract
    NHK (Japan Broadcasting Corporation) has been operating its satellite broadcasting system using the direct broadcasting satellites, BS-2a and BS-2b, for more than 31/2 years in Japan, in collaboration with Telecommunications Satellite Corporation of Japan (TSCJ) and National Space Development Agency of Japan (NASDA). In this paper, NHK´s experience in operating its satellite broadcasting system is presented, in reflecting the latest development of the system, which has been proceeded on since the inauguration of satellite broadcasting
