Abstract :
The use of information technology (IT) equipment in business is occupying an increasingly important role with a consequent increase in the amount of equipment used. Consideration needs to be given to wiring and cooling requirements of IT equipment when designing buildings to ease problems at a later stage. Outlined within this paper are issues and problems which have been encountered by a user of large IT systems.
