Abstract :
Welcome to IRMMW-THz2006. The joint 31st International Conference on Infrared and Millimeter Waves and 14th International Conference on Terahertz Electronics is going to be held from September 18th to 22nd 2006 in Shanghai, China. The conference site is in the Hotel Equatorial Shanghai, which located in the center of the city, neighboring with Jing-An ancient temple, an ancient Buddhist temple with a much longer history than the city Shanghai itself! The abstracts have covered all important topics of the fields, such as IR, MMW and THz sources, detectors & Receivers; devices, images & instruments for IR, THz and MMW; Gyro-oscillators and amplifiers; IR THz MMW spectroscopy, both in frequency and time domains; IR, THz and MMW application in Astronomy, atmosphere and environmental sciences, biology and medicine, physics and chemistry, public security and industry.
