Abstract :
The problem of modeling and simulation of a coherent Weibull process with specified covariance structure of the in-phase and quadrature components is discussed. The nonlinear mapping relation between the complex Weibull covariance sequence and Gaussian covariance sequence is derived. Based on this mapping, a simulation scheme for specified Weibull envelope distribution and complex covariance sequence is developed. The proposed method has been tested with many different examples, and the results indicate that the scheme works very well. The constraints on the covariance sequence of a narrowband process and the compatibility problem are discussed.<>
