Abstract :
The authors demonstrate a 1.5 μm tunable wavelength filter which uses a newly developed phase-shift controllable DFB LD. Tuning range as wide as 71 GHz (5.7 Å) with 26 dB constant gain has been achieved. 10-channel wavelength selection is expected using this filter
