Abstract :
The digital watermarking extraction is usually difficult after withstanding geometric distortions. The research shows that a watermarking scheme with reasonably embedding position and Arnold shuffle pretreatment can eliminate spatial correlation and disperse the error bits among all pixels to make watermarking more strongly robust against cropping operation. Based on the scheme a novel watermarking algorithm is proposed and the largest cropping percentage can be over 70 percent. Furthermore embedded watermark is invisible and robust against common signal processing such as JPEG compression, wavelet compression, filtering, Gaussian noise-adding, salt-pepper noise-adding, etc
