Abstract
This paper describes the development of a 10 MHz to 18 GHz radiofrequency power calibration transfer system based on the direct comparison technique using a resistive power splitter. This system is capable of measuring thermistor and thermoelectric based power detectors. The measurement uncertainties are thoroughly evaluated for the complex quantities in terms of magnitude and phase by following the internationally recommended guidelines. The uncertainty components for the system will be discussed and some measurement results for a power detector calibration will be presented.
