  • Abstract
The system described enables efficient reduction of the line unbalance due to a three phase AC/AC converter feeding an unbalanced load. The cancellation of the inverse component of the line currents fundamentals is chosen as a balancing criterion. It induces a perfect power flow balancing among the three lines because power only deals with fundamentals quantities. Just a little unbalance remains about the other harmonics involving a very small difference between the RMS values of the line currents. The process is rather universal and enables these advantages to be obtained for other power electronics unbalanced circuits
