Abstract
On the basis of studying the coverage performance of non-geostationary orbit (NGSO) satellite constellation, the condition of establishing inter-satellite links (ISLs) and the propagation loss, this paper establishes their respective math models and compiles the simulation program for computing main performance parameters. The simulation program can calculate the coverage characteristics of constellation, the loss range and whether the ISLs can be established, then exports the simulation results as planar figure or chart, which can provide important reference to the design and analysis of NGSO satellite constellation
