Abstract
This paper is based on a new type of CNC (computer numerical control), which is named as INC (integrated numerical control or intelligent numerical control). Some useful image processing technologies have been adopted in INC successfully, which has facilitated manufacturing progress greatly. The paper first has a brief introduction of INC, and then discusses the key image processing technologies used in INC. They mainly include image preprocessing, binary image transforming, thinning and cure tracing, image vectorization technology, etc. Further, as a practical application, a case is given to illustrate how to apply them into INC. Finally, conclusions and predictions are made about INC might be in future years
