Feed restructuring and archiving of data in collaborative mediacast feedlist sharing application

In order to cater to the need of large number of users, who are subscribing to equally large number of feeds, a collaborative feed sharing application is developed. It uses a semantic centralized repository which allows the users to search and fetches the subscribed feed along with the associated media content. It also enables the users to share it with the neighbors, acting as a pseudo-server. In this work we focus on feed and data archiving, social navigation, peer-peer sharing and a feed restructuring application which extracts data from different feeds and combines them together to form a single restructured feed. We had also developed several features viz. "feed reader", "recommender system", "Recent addition notifications" apart from providing a search mechanism that will enable the users to get the effective search results from the repository.
