Abstract :
This paper presents the design, layout, and successful simulation of a 2 to 4 decoder, by the five-inputs majority gate. This decoder can be considered as a module, which has a fixed structure and the correct clocking. Therefore, Generalizing this 2 to 4 decoder provided only requires a driver circuit, which anyway a 2 to 4 decoder to select and activate it. Decoder presented in this paper, that implemented with five input the majority gate, which has been designed with the minimum number of cells, also acts as a pipeline. The 2 to 4 decoder is used as moudular, to implement the n to 2n decoder.
