Abstract
The sound power is the most important characteristic used for describing the noise emission from a machine. Its value is usually determined from sound pressure or sound intensity. The author presents results of sound intensity measurement on different types of electrical machine. The problems of the most suitable presentation of these results are discussed, not only for numerical ways but especially for graphical presentation. The variety depends on the possibilities of the software package used
