Abstract :
A personal computer with communications software, modems, and a spectrum analyzer specially programmed for cable TV data acquisition was used to build a database composed of 24 hourly measurements over a 24-hour period. Spreadsheet software was then used to present the data in graphical form. Trends over time and out-of-limit conditions could then be easily seen
