Abstract :
Information representation and interpretation tools in the medical domain are very difficult to build because of the various sources of information, the amount of data available, and because some type of information are difficult to integrate for a computer, like clinical signs and some kind of data that are more relevant to medical “art”. Given all these constraints the authors designed and built a medical diagnosis support tool from the ground up, trying to make it as usable and useful as possible for the medical staff, available at the patient´s bedside for the lowest possible cost. The application is available for free on the Internet
