Abstract :
In this paper, effects of noise on performances of frequency characteristics compensation filter was evaluated. Three types of noise were considered in this paper and it was shown that the effect of the filter was greatly decreased by receiver noise. This is because of miss-estimation of transmission characteristics. To reduce the effect of receiver noise, averaging technique was introduced. It was varied through computer simulation that the effect of the filter was improved by the averaging. Almost the same performance without the miss-estimation was obtained when the estimated characteristics were averaged with 100 times.
