Abstract :
A self-tuning cavity resonator has been proposed in this paper. An example cavity reveals that the resonant frequency can be tuned over a range of 30 MHz (4%) with a reflection coefficient as small as -37 dB. An experimental system is being developed at Michigan State University to explore the full potential of the self-tuning cavity.
