Abstract :
FDTD analysis of APFA array as a receiving elements for real time PMMW imaging has been presented. It has been demonstrated that the mutual coupling among APFA elements significantly decreases by the presence of corrugation. Furthermore, an axially symmetric array element pattern having a beam width of about 60deg is obtained for the 9 times 9 element APFA array, which is suitable for f/D=1 optics. Numerical and experimental study of the array element pattern for all array elements is remaining as future works.
