  • Abstract
Nicolet Instruments´ customer requirements range from measuring ultra-slow gravitational tides to very high speed electronic signals. Their business is not just in providing some of the tools to fulfil these requirements, but in presenting a complete solution which meets the customer´s measurement needs. This often incorporates test routines and software analysis in an automated sequence. The author looks at how these test/software analysis routines are built and automated so that the customer receives a complete solution requiring the minimum of user input. Application areas discussed include: automated explosive testing; automated power measurements; automated sensor testing in nuclear power stations; and automotive test routines
