Abstract :
In this paper, the Gaussian distributed random variables are introduced into the particle swarm optimisation (PSO) algorithm to enhance its performance. A comparison between the classic PSO and the improved PSO is presented in order to explore a more effective strategy for the optimization of EM problems.
