Abstract
The strain of the T300/AG80 carbon fibre composite laminated plate is tested when it is irradiated by the 50W/cm2 laser beam. Strain in three directions of 0°, 45° and 90° of the specimen under laser beam with various radii is recorded by the dynamic strain testing apparatus. After eliminating the influence of the temperature, the data shows that the strain of the tested point decreases with increase of its distance to the centre of laser beam. After the laminated plate is irradiated for 5 seconds, in the direction of 90° the maximum relative error caused by the temperature in the experiment is 16.9%, and in concentric circle the maximum relative error 18.4% of the strain gauges is in the direction of 90°, which verifies the accuracy of the model.
