Abstract :
The authors report on highly reproducible 1.5 μm multielectrode DFB lasers for use as transmitters and local oscillators in frequency shift keying transmission systems. These devices have been grown using atmospheric pressure metallorganic vapour phase epitaxy and are based on the ridge waveguide structure
