Abstract :
Many applications in financial institutions are characterized with multi-layered architecture. J2EE and its successor Java EE have promoted the spread of the architecture. Under this architecture, asynchronous operations between components are widely adopted. Asynchronous operation method separates the complex business logic of financial applications into small units. The design can make application developing and maintenance more effective. It also increases the concurrent processing for the requests from a large number of clients. In this paper, we present queuing model non-preemptive M/M/1 with 2-class workloads, it can be used to model some components characterized with threading pools and working queues, such as message driven been and JMS message. Considering the complexity of actual applications, we design a simulator that can simulate Non-preemptive M/M/C with 2-class workloads. It extends the application context of mathematical model and can help to analyze the bottle neck for the performance model of financial application.
