Abstract
The author looks at the techniques involved in the measurement of harmonic components of input current in regard of IEC 555 Part 2 and is concerned in particular with the case of single phase AC supplies. The method of making accurate measurements of the harmonic components of input current to the equipment under test is well defined by the standard and each item involved in the measurement is closely specified. The items looked at are an AC source; a current transducer; and a wave analyser
