Abstract :
The author discusses the application of modern technology to the production of plate-fin design cryogenic heat exchangers; in particular, to the brazing process, which is the key element in the production of a good heat-exchanger matrix. The author discusses the problems with previous methods and then discusses the new computer controlled furnace and brazing cycle. The advantage of the new technology are discussed
