  • Abstract
Due to the penetration of computer controlled communication systems within our society and our almost total acceptance and reliance upon them, designs which are self healing and protected from electromagnetic interference (EMI) become not just essential, but expected. The authors describe a particular item of digital transmission equipment, which has been designed with the appropriate EMI and software protection. It also contains additional self-healing attributes, enabling it to meet the high standards demanded by customers
