Abstract :
To calibrate two-polarization space-based SAR the authors used scatterers on the basis of ground high-efficiency full-rotating reflector-parabolic antennas. With this purpose in mind, metal discs or diffraction grids of various sizes are arranged in the focal area of the reflector. The results of space experiments on measuring RCS of such scatterers using ERS-2 SAR are given
