Abstract :
Using output feedback, the authors demonstrate a connection between pole assignment technique and optimal output feedback. There exist common Lyapunov functions relating two closed-loop systems synthesized by each method. From this property, they derive a theorem that makes it possible to relocate the poles optimally using pole assignment
