Abstract :
Axle can check the occupation of block section in railway, and its layout has important influence on line capacity. In this paper, we proposed a layout algorithm for axles in section. Base on practical experience and take safety distance into account, the number of axle is assumed to be one at first, then we locate it by heuristic searching, and infer the algorithm of arranging n axles in section by mathematical induction. By calculating and analyzing the minimum train interval of each axle in the simulation for train control system (the data is measured from YiZhuang Metro), we achieve headway reduced from 180s to 140s, so it enhance line capacity by approximately 22%.
