Abstract :
Due to large calculation errors in engineering applications and lack of necessary theory of the pipeline transport resistance of dense paste, research on the composition of the resistance was conducted, and a calculation model was presented. Comparison between the calculated results by the model and the test results of transporting coal slime in Dongpang Coal Mine Power Plant showed the model has a very high accuracy when estimating the transport resistance, which is denoted as the pipe pressure loss. It showed that the model can meet the needs of theoretical research and engineering applications.
