Abstract :
The four main factors that influence the metal wear performance are determined. Wear Prediction model is developed based on partial least-squares regression method including the four parameters. The fuzzy and random characteristic of metal wear is analysed and the method of the prediction of fuzzy random reliability of metal wear is carried out according to the wear prediction model. The modal is generally used when the materials and working conditions are similar, and the wear reliability can be predicted if the distribution of the influencing factors are given.
