Abstract :
A microwave resonant cavity, used to evaluate the effects of exposition of biological materials or water mixtures to electromagnetic fields at microwave frequencies, is presented. The cavity resonator has been designed and optimized using CST Microwave Studio, a commercial general purpose software for the electromagnetic simulation of three-dimensional high-frequency components.
