  • Abstract
The simplest conduction model for gases subjected to ionization radiation was proposed by Thomson and Thomson (1928). This model was used by Adamchewski (1965), Malecki and Pieranski (1976) for theoretical description of ion conduction in dielectric liquids. The Thomson system of equations was reduced to dimensionless form convenient for model testing and numerical solution. This system of equations was obtained for transient and steady state conditions. Original models for description of electrohydrodynamic processes in dielectric liquids were proposed by Vartanyan et al. (1989) and Zhakin (1990). In these models of conduction the bulk and injection processes were included. On the basis of known theoretical data the authors proposed some results on theoretical and experimental investigation of conduction processes in dielectric liquids
