Abstract :
The OPPL semi-synthetic paper composed of biaxially oriented polypropylene and kraft paper has been shown to have superior electrical and mechanical properties. Using this material, a 275 kV OPPL OF cable has been developed, and OPPL POF cable is now under development. Results are presented on the thickness, manufacturing techniques, and long-term performance tests
