Abstract :
A new synthesis procedure for planar uniform arrays is presented. It is shown how the proposed procedure, thanks to a full exploitation of properties of quadratic operators and of square amplitude distributions, allows one to achieve very efficient solutions to mask constrained power pattern synthesis problems.
