Abstract
The concept of empirical screening effectiveness is reviewed with reference to the measurements performed on the ground plane. Reference is made to alternative techniques such as mode stirred techniques and line injection. Standards for calibrating the ground plane are described and the results of measurement of the standard and harness assemblies to 18 GHz and above are described
