Remote metering system for transformers substations

There are two main divisions within EDF: DEPT is responsible for the production of electricity and its transport along the HV system; and DEGS is responsible for the supply of MV and LV power from power transformers located in source stations. Each one of the DEGS centres can be considered a customer of the DEPT so they must be billed accordingly. A remote metering system for the transformer substations is presented and how it is set up within the system is described
